According to Activision CFO Thomas Tippl, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will be out this holiday season. Now if that doesn’t excite you, then stop reading. This has got to be the greatest news ever (COD4 fanboy here!) for us COD4 fans. This game was epic in many ways. If you follow XBOX Online charts, you would notice that COD4 is the top 3rd online game played as of lately.
“Activision expects Modern Warfare 2 to be “the most anticipated game of the year,” going so far as saying “Perhaps [it'll be] the number one game of the year despite the fact that it’s only going to launch in the holiday season.”
I havent picked up COD World At War yet, but with these news I can happily say that I can keep playing COD4 and Gears 2 until this comes out.Via Joystiq.
